Description: Early 20th century 5'9" boudoir grand piano manufactured by Ferdinand Thürmer in Meißen-Zscheila, Meissen Germany, c1910, with a burr walnut veneered case with period taper turned legs, conforming Lyre with sustain and una corda pedals and open fretwork music desk, with a cast iron frame, original stringing, hammer action, dampers and felts, 7-1/4 octaves with 88 original ebony and ivory covered keys.
Established in 1834 the company is still manufacturing upright and grand pianos in Bochum, Germany.
