Description : Japanese Meiji period signed model of an ivory and Shibayama elephant, standing with its trunk lowered, with howdah and decorated with mother of pearl and coloured hard stones, signature to base of foot H29cm x L30cm and on a wooden plinth

Condition Report: There are glue marks on the howdah where the panels have been re-stuck. There are some cracks in the elephants ears. A number of the small stones are missing from the elephant. Generally in overall good condition. Please find some additional images attached.
