Description : French Boulle style longcase clock, cartouche shaped top with Cronus sat on globular finial, circular gilt dial decorated with scrolls, floral urns and mask, inset porcelain Roman numeral plates, simulated Boulle work ground inlaid with pierced scrolled brass, trunk with ornate acanthus leaf and mask gilt mounts, moulded gilt metal paw feet, twin train eight day movement striking the hours and half on bell, stamped 'Medaille D'Argent Vincent & Cie 1855', H230cm
The case is overall in good condition. There is some lifting to the brass work in several places. One or two minor losses. Some cracking to the polish in places.
The clock is working intermittently. The pendulum's swing has an arc. It would benefit from a service and possibly a new suspension.
