Condition Report:

Joyce - Stitched, though there is no outer binding. Stored in a paper parcel wrapping, stamped ' Maggs Bros., 34 & 35 Conduit Street, London, W'. Booksellers. There are a number of loose pages to the front and rear of the volume but the volume does begin and end at the title page and final line of the novel. Macdonald - bound in brown tooled leather - the gilt design faded though discernible. Front and rear cover are present but independent of the spine. The spine still bears the gilt title 'Cookery' with tooled pattern - with prominent split, frontispiece is missing, the volume beginning at the preface, a number of leaves are loose in the middle of the volume.
