Peter Brook (British 1927-2009): 'New Year's Eve - 4 Fresh Men', 'B&B', 'Red Sky at Night', and 'Sheep in Winter', set four colour prints on Christmas cards signed in pencil 21cm x 30cm Provenance: commissioned for the Spring Ram Corporation, two cards dedicated to the vendor by company directors Bill Rooney and Bob Murray (whose initials spell RaM). The 'New Year's Eve - 4 Fresh Men' print is a variant of the alternative amended to reflect the Spring Ram connection: it contains a sign reading 'Rooney & Murray Plumbers', a sign for the 'Spring Inn' and a street called 'Ram Street'.
