Notes: Sam Scorer was a Lincoln artist and architect who later founded the notable 'Sam Scorer' art gallery in Lincoln, most known for his designs hyperbolic paraboloid roof structures. The painting was done when both Colin St John (Sandy Wilson) and Sam were students at Corpus Christi. Sandy was an English architect, lecturer and author who contributed to the building of the new British Library at Euston and various galleries.
