Early 20th century eight-day ebonised German bracket clock with a two train striking movement, striking the hours and quarters on two coiled gongs, ebonised case on a concave moulded plinth raised on brass bracket feet with inverted bell top and brass finials, full length glazed door with brass slip and recessed brass spandrels to the break arch, brass dial with cherub head spandrels, silvered pendulum regulation disc and scroll spandrels to the arch, 6-1/2" diameter silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, five-minute Arabic's, minute track and half hour markers, etched matted dial center with steel spade hands, twin going barrel movement, deadbeat escapement with adjustable steel pallets, movement back plate stamped with the lion UM trademark for Uhrenfabrik Mühlheim, Müller & Co. Serial No 152300, brass presentation plaque dated 5-1-16 to rear of case, with winding key, two case keys and pendulum.
