Don’t look away - it’s not your average Furniture, Clocks & Interiors sale this month. Charles begins with a classy clock category, including a particularly good Chippendale style longcase clock (Lot 508). Magnificent mirrors, from mantle to mahogany follow - and an eclectic assortment of antique furniture. Worth more than a mention is the 19th-century yew and elm Windsor armchair (Lot 553), as well as a set of four period Windsor armchairs (Lot 557). Rugs are dotted amongst the catalogue, as are a number of deco, mid-century and modernist gems - and modern furniture, garden and architectural items seal off the sale.
